Luis S. Fraticelli, Special Agent in Charge (SAC), San Juan Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Pedro A. Toledo Davila, Superintendent, Police of Puerto Rico, today announce the arrest of fugitives Adrian Alvarez-Rosado, age 29; Roberto Alvarez Rosado, age 33; and Raul Alvarez-Rosado, age 37. The three subjects, who are brothers, are also former residents of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. On August 19, 2005, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the three remaining subjects were arrested without incident by FBI Special Agents and Philadelphia Police Department detectives after they were tracked to their new residence located in the 2900 block of Waterloo Street in Philadelphia. The three fugitives were taken into custody based upon federal arrest warrants charging them with Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution (18 U.S.C. Section 1073). They were successfully located and arrested based upon the FBI having recently developed information regarding their flight and relocation to the Philadelphia area.
